The materials I want to use for my bodypainting are airbrush paint and aqua colors paint. I've been practicing with aqua colors in order to get confident with it, mixing colors together and using different brushes, creating shapes and blending. The pictures on the left shows my first practice, a few sketch on my housemate back. It took me half hour to do it, which is not too bad, aiming to get as quick as possible in order to make sure I know how long It would take me to create a full body painting during my practical assestment.

Body painting practice

I also practiced a bit with airbrush technique in the studio, on the back of a friend, re- creating my back design. I just sketched the chakra with some aquacolor to have an idea of the position of them, will apply prosthetic chakras on the actual exam.  So I first made the base with different airbrush paint colors. Then, I added some aquacolor with a toothbrush, to give a nice constellation effect. I then painted the rest with aquacolor. I wasn't very satisfied with my spiral, I though it should be much thinner, and more abstract rather than capturing so much attention. There was no more time to practice as it was time to close the studio, so once home I quickly sketched an alternative.

I made a think simple white spiral, then I added white dots into it, then I painted the spiral black and again added white dots, so I could see 3 different options. I definitely preferred the central image and used it as my final back Design.
