How to cover tattoos

My model has two black tattoos, so I've been looking at products and ways to cover it. There are quite a few products available online, claiming the best quality coverage. However most of them received bad reviews from the clients, and the most effective one are very expensive.

I've found a tutorial on youtube which explains how to cover tattoos by using cheap make-up from the drugstore. It seemed to work pretty well and I experimented the same method on a friend, using my own make-up.

The result is good, the only problem is that takes too much time considering the size of my model tattoos and the fact I have a full body-painting to make.

I also had a look on ebay and bought a tattoos and scars coverage kit ( including several colors to mix, sponges, brushes and translucent powder ).

I spent 25 pounds and I did not expect anything particularly amazing.

In fact, the result still okay but not as good as the cheap make-up method. However I though it would be good enough as the tattoo will also be covered with some airbrush paint.

I finally tried the coverage on my actual model and then tested my new airbrush paint colors mixing some blu with yellow in order to obtain a nice green. Adding the airbrush paint on top of the tattoos cover ended up being a good result, the tattoo is not visible at all.

Process using my own make-up ( foundation, orange eye shadow, hairspry, concealer, banana powder )
